While we're still awaiting the start of spring, weather-wise, there is definitely a sense of change in the air as we enter a fresh season. We have weathered a lot of challenges in recent memory, but we’ve worked hard to look after your money and there is hopefully good news on the horizon for those of us who are invested. With lots in play this year, including major elections expected in both the UK and the US, we’re certainly primed to continue to help you with your financial goals.

And it’s not just your money that we're here to look after. We want to help you with your financial wellbeing more generally. Sadly, there are large numbers of scammers targeting investors and our industry is facing high levels of financial crime. We have therefore updated our ‘ScamSmart’ resources on the website, and urge you to get in touch if you have any questions or are worried you’ve been a victim of financial crime at any point. Please don't feel like you are troubling us, even if it involves a third party rather than your CAM accounts. We're happy to offer support to help you navigate this difficult area.

We are delighted to introduce a new section of our website which includes resources for our younger client base, helping to improve financial literacy and encourage good savings habits from an early age. We hope you will share this with family members or friends who might find it interesting and please do share any feedback - particularly on which topics you’d like to see us cover.

This newsletter includes a regular update from our Investment Management team, along with articles covering the new tax rules for the new tax year and some thoughts on whether the lifetime allowance has really disappeared. We also look back over the 25-year history of the ISA.
